Karen bough a computer scanner for $1500. It depreciated by 5% p.a. After how many years will the scanner have lost more than half its value?

Is there a computer scanner or are there scanners that are capable of converting handwriting to text?
I'm just curious if there is anything out there in the market capable of recognizing handwriting and converts it to text.

Need Help asap, Virus on computer.?
My Computer has Recently had a virus on it. It popped up a fake computer scanner saying i had several viruses wanting me to delete key system files, im Not very professional with computers but do find my self tech savvy. i have traced down a process in task manager which i believe was not there before. I understand this is a windows file : Winlogon.exe but next to the process where the description is it is blank, and i also cannot end the process due to "administrator privileges." i am the admin of my own pc.
If this is a virus what do you reckon would be the best plan of action to get rid of it.
Possible safe mode the computer and using ????? virus software?
Help please.
